Marilyn Berman Park (Skyline)

Marilyn BermanPark: Marilyn Berman Park died peacefully at home July 26, 2002 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn was born May 15, 1945 in Salt Lake City. Married to Thomas L. Park Sept 9, 1965, later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. She graduated from Skyline High School and later from LDS Business College. She served as Chief Home Loan Officer in the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Marilyn was an active member of the Little Cottonwood Twelfth Ward, was Young Women's president, first counselor in the Relief Society, and served in the Primary. Survived by her husband, Thomas L. Park; two brothers, Robert F. (Sylvia) Berman, H. Alan (Pat) Berman; four nieces and nephews. Marilyn's life was a tribute to faith and optimism. Loved by all who knew her, she will be missed deeply by family and friends. Services will be Wed. July 31, 2002, 11 a.m., Little Cottonwood Twelfth Ward Chapel, 6180 S. Glen Oaks. Viewing will be Tues. July 30, 6-8 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr, and Wed. 9:45-10:45 at the church prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
