Patricia Garff Anderegg
Patricia Garff Anderegg passed away on December 7, 1996.
She was born June 12, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Elmo and Kathryn Garff. Her children are Adam (and his wife, Carol), Julie, Sarah, Emily and Daniel. Patty was married to Thomas Henry Anderegg March 22, 1966, and divorced. She has two sisters: Suzanne Garff Reynolds (and husband Brett), Kathryn Louise Robinson (and husband Bob) and one brother: Richard Elmo Garff (and wife, Valerie).
Patty loved music. She felt a song's influence and helped others to feel and enjoy it. When times were difficult, she could look on the bright side and help others find the light as well. She had the ability to make good friends and be a good friend herself. The family wishes to thank the hundreds of people who cared for and helped her.
Patty lived in Spokane, WA for 15 years. She moved back to Salt Lake City in June to finish her courageous three year battle with cancer.
She loved light, life and laughter. She had developed a keen sense of others well-being, always conscious of their needs, even when hers were not met. As a dedicated teacher and friend, she touched many lived for good. She is our best friend, the best mother we could ever have.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Wednesday, December 11, 1996 at the Alta View Chapel, 1950 East Viscounti Drive (8600 South) with remembrance gatherings Tuesday, December 10, at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, December 11, from 11-11:50 a.m. at the Alta View Chapel.
