DENNIS A. VANDERLINDEN


Dennis Allen Vanderlinden departed this life suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on June 15, 1995.


Dennis was born on November 10, 1944 in Salt Lake City to Corne- lius and Helen Herridge Vanderlinden. He mar- ried Patricia Ensign, July 14, 1967 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dennis L graduated from Olym- pus High School in 1963 and later served honor- ably as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army Special Forces Reserves. He was an active member of the LDS Church, having filled a Great Lakes Mission, 1964-66. He was currently serving as secretary to the Willow Creek 4th Ward High Priest group. Dennis was devoted to his family and worked diligently for their welfare. To provide for them he owned and operated the Garden Gate Distributing Co., a wholesale carpet outlet. He had an enthusiasm for life and enjoyed many wonderful trips with his family. He was loved by friends and associates and always gave generously of his time and talents.


In addition to his wife, Pat, he is survived by three daughters, Melissa (Mrs. Barry) Loveless, Lori Vanderlinden, and Jill (Mrs. Kyle) Lambson; two sons, Tim and Todd; grandson, Bosten Love- less; his parents; a brother, Steve; two sisters, Lin- da (Bob) Peterson and Connie (Rick) Plumb.


Dennis will be remembered at a service on Monday, June 19, 1995 at 12 noon, at the Willow Creek 4th Ward Chapel, 2350 E. Creek Road (8120 South). Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 East, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Mt. View Cemetery.
