Frank K Hopkins 1945~2004 ?Frank K Hopkins passed away in Salt Lake City, UT, the evening of February 5th, 2004, joining his beloved wife, Margaret. ?Frank was born April 30, 1945, in Salt Lake City, to Keith A. and Elizabeth R Hopkins. They preceded him in death. After graduating from Olympus High School, Frank joined the US Army and served in Korea during the early days of the Vietnam War. Following his release from the Army, Frank traveled the country and settled in Evanston, WY, 28 years ago, establishing F & M Taxi a few years later. Frank is survived by his brother, Rulon J. (Margaret) Hopkins, Taylorsville, UT; and his sisters, Marie Hopkins, Salt Lake City; and Jolene (Duane) Marcil, Colorado Springs, CO; five nephews and one niece, and several grandnephews and nieces. Also survived by his uncles and aunts: Keith (Donna) Robison, Scipio, UT; Lola Stuart, Price, UT; Lee Ames, Springville, UT; Mern (Chet) Warwick, Truth or Consequences, NM; Jerald (Loretta) Robison, Salt Lake City, UT; and numerous cousins. Frank wanted the world to know that 44 years of tobacco abuse and 30 years of alcohol abuse led to his early death. He was proud to say that he was 14 years sober. The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the staff of Eastridge Care Center for the loving care they gave Frank. Tom-Thanks for being his "Polish Buddy". Memorial services in Evanston and Salt Lake are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Frank's name to the American Cancer Society, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, or to the Family to help with Frank's expenses (c/o 3065 So. 2520 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84109).
