Craig Brown (Skyline)

Craig Bruce Brown 1945 ~ 2009 Craig Bruce Brown passed away peacefully August 11, 2009. He was born July 15, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry and Geraldine Brown. He was an educated man graduating from the University of Utah with a PhD in Psychology and achieving Summa Cum Laude recognition. He worked for Valley Mental Health as a chief Psychologist for over 30 years, caring for those who were less fortunate. He helped countless numbers of people get back on their feet through his love and compassion. Craig was a man that touched every life he came in contact; a man that truly cared about people and their well being. As a father he cared more for his three sons than his own life. As a husband he carried a special place in his heart for his wife. His family, his friends were among those he loved with all his heart. Growing up we would always run into someone he knew. We would ask our father "Is he a good man?" Without fail, he would respond with the same answer, "He is a prince of a man." Craig was truly a "prince of a man" in every aspect. He will be missed by all those he helped and loved. He is survived by his spouse, Lesley Allen Brown, his three sons, Geoff Nicholson Brown (Jessika Grimshaw- Brown), Jacob Irvine Brown (Rebecca Bresley-Brown) and Jordon Craig Brown; along with his grandchildren, Britton Geoffrey Brown; Madeline Jane Brown; Jacob Nicholson Brown; Amalie Louise Brown and Samuel Louis Brown. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Millcreek First Ward Chapel, 2702 Evergreen Ave., Salt Lake City.
