Sylvia Naujoks (Gleave)

Sylvia H. Gleave, 49, died July 19, 1994 of cancer.

Born March 30, 1945 in Lengefeld, Germany, to Rudolph Hofmann and Traudy H. Naujoks. Married Kurt C. Gleave, November 5, 1966.She worked as a vice president and branch manager for Dean Witter Reynolds, Parleys Way Branch. She was respected for he integrity, organization, and strong work ethic. She received much recognition for her personal accomplishments as well as many awards and honors for the production of her office and co-workers.

She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. As a member of the Utah Orchid Society, she loved raising rare and beautiful orchids and plants in her greenhouse. Her talents as a seamstress and handiworker were unmatched and admired by all.

She is survived by her husband, Kurt C. Gleave; two sons, Shane and Lane; daughter, Tammy Gleave Crayk and husband, Kris; parents, Arthur O. and Traudy Naujoks; brother, Mario and wife, Suzie; three nieces and one nephew; two grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Marty, and father, Rudolph Hofmann.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 22, 1994 at 11 a.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South. Friends may call at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Dr. from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to graveside.
