After graduation I did 6 months active duty with the Army reserve, then I went to work for The Quality Press in Salt Lake until I reach 21 when I could apply for work at the Salt Lake City Fire Dept. I was hired a year later, that was a great job! I spent my entire career at the busiest stations but after 25 years I was tired and hung it up.
After leaving the Fire Dept. I went to work for Albertson's until finely retiring for good in 2010. Since retirement I've become an avid University of Utah sports fan, that has been a lot of fun and I'm truly enjoying my retirement.
I remember how crowded it was our first two years at Olympus. We didn't have a cafeteria, the gymnasium was small, but it rocked on game day, and our history class was held in the Little Theater every other week because there weren't enough class rooms for all of us. The fondest memory I have was the time I spent on the stage crew, we were involved in just about everything that went on in the auditorium, that was fun.
