Richard Carl Wahlberg, 52, passed away February 4, 1998 of natural causes.
 

Born June 7, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elvin F. and Ruth A. Wahlberg, he married DeAnna Martin December 20, 1967, later divorced. He was a highly skilled mechanic, and a lifetime member of Zion's Lutheran Church. His children and grandchildren meant everything to him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Survived by his mother, Ruth Wahlberg; children: Paul (Teresa) Martin, Tracy (Larry) Casey, Julie (Michael) Norman all of Salt Lake City; Bryan Wahlberg, US Navy, Newport News, VA: four grandchildren, Travis Cody Casey, Shayla Shontay Norman, Brianna Lee Norman, Brody Michael Norman; sister, Kathleen Hill; brothers, Fred Wahlberg and Gerald K. (DeAnne) Wahlberg, all of Salt Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and brother, Ronald Wahlberg.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, 1998 at Zion's Lutheran Church, 1070 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6-7 p.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 E. First So., and one hour prior to services at Zion's Lutheran Church on Monday. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
