John William “Bill” Taylor

“Bill” John William Taylor, age 41, passed away December 27, 1985 in Salt Lake City after a long illness.

Bill was born December 14, 1944 in Holladay to John Glen and Darl Christensen Taylor. He attended Skyline High School, Class of 1963, and Utah State University. Bill married Jerry Davison in Holladay.

He worked for Deseret Pharmaceutical and Facet Automotive Filter Company, manager of human relations. He had a love for life, sports, and the outdoors. His work through life had a positive effect on people.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jerry; daughter Crystal Rae; mother and father of Holladay. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters, Keith Taylor of Sandy, Mrs. Bill (Janet) Bragg of Holladay, Mrs. Brad (Joyce) Rogers of Roosevelt and Mrs. Richard (Jill) Benton of Salt Lake City.

Funeral service will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., Butler 7th Ward, 1375 East 7200 South. Friends may call at Mackay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, Sunday, 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward Monday, one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to University of Utah Health Services, Kidney Research, Salt Lake City, 84132. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park.
