Sharon Schmidlkofer Cossey
LAYTON- Sharon Katherine Cossey, age 46, died April 14, 1991 at the University of Utah Medical Center, from complications of surgery.
Sharon was born March 31, I945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a daughter of Leo and Dorthy Schmidlkofer. She married Karl N. Cossey, August 22, 1964 at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, in Salt Lake City. She was a resident of Layton for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband, Layton; two daughters, Shelley Morley, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Tammy Todd, Layton; grandson, Bronson Morley, Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Barbara Rassmussen and Linda Hunter, both of Salt Lake City.
Memorial mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at the corner of Church and Main Street, Layton. Committal service will be held at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, following mass, 4th Avenue and T Street, Salt Lake City. Funeral directors: Neil O’Donnell and Sons Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Northern Utah Chapter, 543 East 500 South #9, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102.
