Since I retired has been one hell of a year, I had to loose 60 pounds to have both knees replaced so I look a little different than the picture I have posted.
I went to The musical Hair just recently and boy did that bring back some old memories, I knew the words ver batum to all the songs.
2013 has been a much better year for me all the pain from my knee replacements has dissipated and I am walking much better and getting around a lot more I am going on a 28 day cruise of the South Pacific after the reunion and will be returning to Europe in 2014, so for me life is good.
Just back from the 28 day Cruise Started to Sydney Australia then to New Zealand, then on up to Tonga and Samoa then to a ten day tour of Tahiti what a wonderful tour, in a way I am glad but sad to be home I am glad to be back to my King size bed and large bathroom, if you have ever been on a cruise ship you will know what I mean but sad to have left the tropics. This trip it was just the wife and I and we made a lot of new friends and spent a lot of quality time together. Photos will follow. Well it is 2018 and I have a new left hip.
History after College I was a little league football coach and I must say we did quiet well we never won a championship but we were always in the top 10. I did that for 15 years I used to run with the kids and if any of them beat me we were done with practice, for the first ten years I was un- defeated from there on I quit running because there were always one or two kids who beat me.
We found Viking cruise lines for ocean cruising and did another Europe trip only this time the rooms and the bathroom were huge what a great cruise line we will be back in 2019 god willing. I have been retired since 2000 and have done very little so my weight is back up to the pre knees level looking forward to seeing you all at he 55th.
I am sad to see that the old Olympus will soon be history.
Well the old Olympus is gone and the new one has risen from its ashes and I must admit it is a beautiful new edifice, the colors from the outside mimic the old building and I really must admit I am impressed, I can hardly wait to take the tour of it in August as part of the reunion.
