Scott Keyser

 Scott Jay Keyser 1945 ~ 2008

 

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son, Scott J. Keyser, passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, 2008, of multiple myeloma. Born June 2, 1945, to Lola Williams and Aaron Keyser, he graduated from Olympus High and received a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a MBA from the University of Utah. He married his eternal sweetheart, Christine Rueckert, on February 9, 1968, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Formerly employed by Geneva Steel, he was recently employed by NuSkin Enterprises. Scott accomplished much good during his 62 years of life, but his proudest accomplishment was his children. He will be remembered for his gentle and patient ways, his love for Lake Powell, and his unwavering faith in his Savior and His gospel. Survived by his mother; wife; children Stephanie (Kelly) Morgan, Mike (Mimi) Keyser, Kim (Craig) Ferguson, and Natalie (James) Palmer; 10 grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; cousins; nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held Mon., February 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Utah Hidden Valley Stake Center (1459 E Raddon Dr), Sandy, with a viewing starting at 9:15 a.m. prior to funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Utah Blood/Marrow Transplant and Myeloma Program at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Interment in Larkin Sunset Gardens.
