Douglas Hugh Nelson:

"Tree" Doug died of pancreatic cancer at home on December 17th, (2008)with his wife, friends and family at his side.Doug was born in Salt Lake City, April 20, 1945 to Hugh J. Nelson and Ruth Crow Nelson. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1963 and attended two quarters at Utah State University. Doug married Darci Stilson on August 17, 2004, together 15 years. Doug worked in the film industry doing craft services and also worked for the Ute Cab Co. Our work in films afforded us much travel and time together. He most enjoyed riding his Harley Motorcycle. Preceded in death by his parents and special aunt Winnifred Burton. Survived by wife Darci, step-children Donny and Nikki Salazar, Kylynne, Danny Salazar Thien, Kindy Lee Salazar, daughter Brook, Chad McDonald, and eight grandchildren. Special thanks to the UMF and CMF and the Utah Cancer Specialists. A memorial will be held Monday, December 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel at 6720 S. 1300 E., Midvale, UT.
