Melva Brady Jackson Aunt Wonderful  Melva Brady Jackson died August 22, 2003 in her home in Alta Loma, California in the care of her loving husband after courageously struggling with many severe illnesses during the last 15 years of her life. Melva Brady Jackson was born February 27, 1945 in Durango, Colorado to LaVere and Evelyn Brady. Melva married Lee Clifford Nielsen May 1, 1964 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they had four children. Lee passed away May 26, 1979. She later married Bobby Jackson and they have been married 14 years. Melva will be remembered as a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She had a deep love for her children and grandchildren. She will also be remembered for her humorous and mischievous ways and for her unique, energetic laugh. She was always a classy lady. She is survived by her husband of 14 years and by three children, Frederick Nielsen, Brady (Tonia) Nielsen, and Eileen (Paulene) Nielsen; seven grandchildren, Christian Anthony Nielsen, Nicholas Nielsen, Davin Brady Nielsen, Dacia Nielsen, Shelby Leen Nielsen, Steadman Brady Nielsen and Madison Brooke Nielsen; five sisters, Sandra (Don) Jones, Joycelyn Peterson, Connie (Richard) Minen, Vicki (Burke) Hills and Brenda (Mark) Maxwell; three brothers, Vaughn Brady, Dale (Cheryl) Brady, Dymon (Carol) Brady; and a close cousin, Carolyn Brady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Clifford Nielsen, daughter LeeAnn Nielsen; parents, LaVere and Evelyn Brady; brother, Max E. Brady. A memorial service will be held to honor Melva's life on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Brighton 3rd Ward Chapel (2300 East Bengal Boulevard). Friends may call August 28, 2003 from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. at the Brighton 3rd Ward Chapel and August 29, 2003 at 10- 10:45 a.m., prior to the funeral services. The burial will be at the Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, Idaho at 3 p.m.
